ReCODE 2.0 with Apollo Health

ReCODE is a comprehensive program focused on identifying and treating the root causes of cognitive decline. Developed by Dale Bredesen MD, based on decades of Alzheimer's research, this comprehensive protocol includes lab testing, functional testing, cognitive testing, diet, exercise, brain training, supplements and more.  â€‹

 

ReCODE is for people who are currently struggling with memory and cognitive decline.

PreCODE is for prevention of cognitive decline. 

 

Dr. Bredesen and Apollo Health have developed a robust digital platform to support the implementation and tracking of both the ReCODE and PreCODE protocols. ReCODE and PreCODE are complex programs that should be tailored to each person's specific combination of symptoms, risk factors and biology.  Because of this, you must work with a ReCODE 2.0 certified practitioner to help guide you through the program.  â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹

Subscription to Apollo's ReCODE or PreCODE platforms is strongly recommended.  Subscription includes access to discounted lab tests, cognitive testing, brain training, recipes, support groups, educational materials and more.  Most importantly, the Apollo platform generates The ReCODE / PreCODE Reports from questionnaires, and testing completed on the platform.

The best results from ReCODE are achieved by commiting to all aspects of the protocol, and the earlier in your journey you start, the better the results. This requires a significant investment of both time and money. In perspective, one year of memory care would pay for about 10 years of ReCODE. Data from Apollos clinical trials indicate that following the ReCODE and PreCODE protocols improves cognitive function in more than 80% of participants.  Those people also enjoy improved energy, metabolism, cardiovascular health, strength, balance, and more.

I can be your ReCODE guide, coordinator, interpreter, detective, educator, and facilitator.  I have knowledge and experience in most aspects of the ReCODE approach (including the tricky ones like detox).  However, due to working across state lines, I am not able to be your prescriber or order imaging.  I can provide detailed requests for your local doctor.

Standard First ND visit with Dr. Becky: 

  • I need to understand your complete health history, all your symptoms, your habits and health goals. 

  • 90-180 minutes

 

ReCODE / PreCODE Onboarding Visit (optional): 

  • I will walk you through the ReCODE / PreCODE programs, your options for required testing, as well as plan for (or order) any supplemental testing. 

  • I will help you onboard with Apollo if necessary.

  • Review your initial ReCODE / PreCODE report, and make an initial plan of action. 

  • Recommend 2 hours

ReCODE 2-3 month follow up:

Improving cognition requires finding and addressing ALL of the causes of decline. That means a lot of detective work.  Usually that detective work is done in layers.  Solutions are also often implemented in layers. For many people there are a fair number of shorter visits interspersed between the "essential" visits listed above. ​​
